Commissioning
MEP Cx stands apart from other providers because commissioning is 100% of our business. Commissioning is not an “add-on service,” it is the service we provide. MEP Cx has performed various types of commissioning for hotels, casinos, office buildings, universities, schools, residence halls, specialized laboratories, hospitals, military facilities, hangars and post offices, including LEED Fundamental or Enhanced commissioning and existing building retro-commissioning.
Our staff maintains over 125-years of experience in the construction and commissioning industry. We have projects in 14 states across the U.S. and Guam. Our growth and success are attributed to our staff of experienced Commissioning Agents with expertise in project management and construction knowledge. They have a comprehensive understanding of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, lighting, and fire and life safety systems. We have commissioned many specialty systems such as medical gases, toxic gases, security, audio/visual, information technology, laboratory air, nurse call stations, compressed gas, ice storage, geothermal heat pumps, and vertical transport systems.
The MEP Cx commissioning process is based on the most current certified commissioning guidelines and procedures. We have taken the best practices from the industry authorizing programs to form the basis for our Approach.
In addition, MEP Cx is certified by the City and County of Denver as a Minority/Woman Business Enterprise (M/WBE) and by the Colorado Department of Transportation and the City and County of Denver as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and as an Emerging Business Enterprise (EBE) for the construction industry.
